Recent Changes

I have learned a lot in computer class. I never knew that we can make our own slides until this year. We used Microsoft Picture It in our projects. I learned more than what I knew in Picture It. The best part about this year was learning how to make a website. I never knew how to make one and I always wanted too. So now that I know how to, I will use this on my own time for other things. Also, I learned how to edit pictures and make them into a collage.
I enjoyed what I have learned this year. I hop that I will learn more next yeasr in computer class. My teacher is good at teaching kids on how to use the computer graphics. I had a lot of fun. I liked learning about different programs and techniques on how to make my own graphinc arts. I got a lot done in this year and I will next year. I will use what I learned in other projects in different classes and for homework that is assigned to me.

George Washington was born on Februuary 22, 1732. He was a planter who helped survey at Fairfax's land. Later, he was appointed Adjutant General in the Virginia Militia. At the age of 20 he was a Major. In 1754 he was appointed Lieutenant Colonel. He wanted to to get rid of the French at the Fort Duquesne, but he had surrendered. Washington wanted to capture Ohio Country with the British General. When Congress created the Continental Army on June 14th, they appointed Washington as Major General. They also gave him Commander-in-Chief of the Army.
When William Howe planned to capture New York, Washington sent the Continental Army to fight back. Later, Washington signed the Jay Treaty with Britain to keep peace. In 1797, Washington had retired from his Presidency. Adams appointed George Washington as the Senior Officer of the United States Army. Sadly, on December 14, 1799, George Washington died of pneumonia and laryngitis. He did a lot to contribute for the United States by protecting the state and fighting in battles with his Continental Army.

The programs that I used in class, will be used on my own time too. I will have used the programs in my poem book for another teacher. Learning about other programs is helpful throughout your life for other things you need to do. I appreciate learning about them because they are helpful to me in my life.

Jack was last. He grabbed the last rope and started to climb. Something terrable happened, his rope snaped. Now, he his hanging for his life. Pedro attempted to save Jack. Unfortunately, he counldn't reach. Suprisingly, when Samantha grabbed Jack's arm he was able t oget up the mountain. He was very hurt. There were many scrapes and bruses on his legs and arms. They took there emergeny bag and treated him. Luckily he was fine and he made it. Then, "BANG!" roared the thunder. Everyone was startled. It began to down pour. They grbbed all of there supplies and headed on their way down the mountain.
They slipped down in the pouring rain. They were soaked. The continued to reach the ground. Pedro, Jack, and Samantha successfully made it down Hugo. They journeyed home in the lightning and thunder. "Boom!", lightning hit the street pole. Down came the power line and everything. It was getting worse by the minute. They started to run home to get there fast. At last, they have arrived. they all went into Jack's house to dry and eat dinner. They were all excited to be home and that they all survived.
